Patches At Work is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping and improving the lives of children who are in unfortunate circumstances with the use of music, laughter, & entertainment. Patches At Work focuses on children who are terminally ill, homeless, or abused with the hopes of healing an area which doctors and therapists may not be able to reach.

Maria Dal Pra graduated in January 2008 with an M.P.A. from Strayer University. After studying vocal performance at The Ohio State University for four years, Maria performed for Carnival Cruise Lines as well as briefly securing solo singing contracts. After leaving the music industry, Maria returned to her family business which she successfully operated until 2001. After selling the business, Maria continued to consult for the buyers. Seeing a need that is not being met, Maria has decided to leave her current career and pursue her dream of helping so many children in need.
